This Privacy Policy describes how the Synaxarium (السنكسار) Android app ("the App"), developed by Rosaline Makar ("the Developer", "I", "we"), handles information when you use the App. The App is available on Google Play under the package name com.makar.maher.rosaline.synaxarium.
SUMMARY
Synaxarium does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The App works entirely offline: all Synaxarium content (Coptic calendar readings, saints, and events) is bundled inside the App itself, and the App makes no network requests to any server.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
The App does not collect any of the following:
• Your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers
• Your location
• Photos, contacts, or files
• Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
• Any data transmitted over the internet, since the App does not connect to the internet
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The App stores the following information locally on your own device only. This information is never transmitted anywhere and is only accessible to the App itself:
• Favorites — the list of saints/events you choose to mark as favorites.
• Settings — your preferences, such as text size, whether the daily reminder notification is turned on, and your chosen reminder time.
This data is stored using Android's standard local app storage. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes it. We (the Developer) have no access to it.
PERMISSIONS USED
• Post Notifications — used only to show the optional daily reminder notification you can enable in Settings. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device's App Settings.
• Receive Boot Completed — used only to re-schedule your daily reminder notification after your device restarts, so it keeps working without you having to reopen the App. It is not used for any other purpose.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
THIRD PARTIES
The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not share any data with third parties, because no data is collected in the first place.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date above.

• أي بيانات تُرسل عبر الإنترنت، لأن التطبيق لا يتصل بالإنترنت أصلاً
بيانات مخزّنة على جهازك فقط
• المفضلة — قائمة القديسين/المناسبات التي تختار إضافتها للمفضلة.
• الإعدادات — تفضيلاتك مثل حجم الخط، وتفعيل إشعار التذكير اليومي، ووقته.
تُخزَّن هذه البيانات محليًا على جهازك فقط، ولا يمكن للمطوّر الوصول إليها، وتُحذف نهائيًا عند حذف التطبيق.
الأذونات المستخدمة
• إرسال الإشعارات — تُستخدم فقط لعرض إشعار التذكير اليومي الاختياري.
• تشغيل عند إعادة التشغيل — تُستخدم فقط لإعادة جدولة إشعار التذكير اليومي بعد إعادة تشغيل الجهاز.
